The whole chalet to yourselves
Over the holidays you can rent all five rooms, each with its own bathroom, for up to 20 people. Cook Christmas dinner or New Year's Eve treats in the shared kitchen and gather everyone around the long table.

New Year's Eve your way
Celebrate New Year's Eve your way in the chalet lounge. By arrangement we offer a beer tap for an evening with your group, and if it has snowed, you can start the new year on the slope close to the chalet.
Winter on the doorstep
The U Čápa ski area is about 300 metres from the chalet and the Jizerská magistrála access point about 1.7 km. When the season starts and whether there will be snow over the holidays depends on the weather; the resort's website and webcam show current conditions.
U Čápa ski area ↗Christmas ornaments from Poniklá
In Poniklá, about 22 km and under half an hour's drive from the chalet, Rautis makes ornaments from glass beads. The handmade craft has been on UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage since 2020. The workshop offers tours and a shop. It is usually closed on 24 and 25 December and on New Year's Day, so check opening times before you go.

Jablonec nad Nisou (18 km) usually holds Christmas celebrations on Mírové náměstí before Christmas, and Liberec (30 km) has markets on Soukenné náměstí and náměstí Dr. E. Beneše, typically from late November to 23 December. The towns announce exact dates each year.

Yes. The chalet has five rooms with private bathrooms and 20 beds including extra beds. We agree dates and the price based on occupancy.
Can we cook Christmas dinner at the chalet?
Yes. The shared kitchen has a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, and the long table seats everyone.
Will there be snow at Christmas?
Nobody can promise that. Příchovice lies at around 800 metres most U Čápa runs have snowmaking; the resort's webcam shows current conditions.
Where can we go on a trip over the holidays?
For example to Poniklá for a tour of the glass ornament workshop, to the Christmas markets in Jablonec nad Nisou or Liberec, or on foot to the Štěpánka lookout tower.
