U Čápa ski area
The ski area right in Příchovice has two T-bar lifts and a children's lift on a separate slope. Its five runs are 550 to 1,000 metres long and most have snowmaking, so you can ski even in winters with less snow.
The main slope is floodlit for night skiing. The area lies at around 800 metres above sea level.

For children and beginners
The resort has a ski school with its own lift, rental of downhill and cross-country skis and snowshoes, and a ski service. Children start on a separate slope with a kids' lift, away from the main runs.
Because the slope is so close, you can come back to the chalet for lunch between runs, or put little skiers down for an afternoon nap.
One pass, several ski areas
U Čápa is part of the PANORAMA CARD, a shared ski pass with Rejdice, Paseky nad Jizerou, Šachty and Kamenec. With one pass you can try different slopes nearby during your stay.

Rejdice is 3.6 km from the chalet (about 5 minutes by car) and has a chairlift. The family-friendly Šachty area in Vysoké nad Jizerou is about 10 km, a quarter of an hour's drive. Tanvaldský Špičák is about 8 km and around 15 minutes away; Harrachov, with the biggest slopes in the area, is about 11 km and under 20 minutes by car.

After skiing
The chalet has a ski room and a boot-drying room, so you start each morning in dry boots. In the evening everyone gets together in the shared kitchen and lounge.
